We thought that we had better announce the winners of the laundry & cocktail competitions.We know you've thought of nothing else!

 

There are joint winners for laundry. Holly for her baking soda & nail brush because it seems to be working and Matthew for suggesting battery acid as it doesn't leave us with any laundry to bother about! Just book those cruises whenever you want!

 

Joan won the watermelon cocktail competition with "Goatboat Delight" and we have to say it's well worth trying on a hot evening!

 

 

The tropical storms & hurricanes seem to be coming thick & fast. We were still being influenced by the tail end of Dennis which was over Ohio when Emily started off as a tropical storm and this morning became a category 4 hurricane heading north-west. We always feel guilty when we see it heading that direction as it shouldn't affect us but might hit our friends in St. Petersburg .
